Root huawei y210d mobile (no need of experience)
this is a complete guidance for newbies who are seeking for new technology and new experiences. read the whole article to fullfill your target or change your mind to stay with your original android os.
in this article i will show you how to install cyanogenmod slimbean 4.2.2 on your huawei y210d dual sim phone. watch the video first and download all required softwares prior to begin the install because some of them can be removed at this time as those files have been hosted in free servers. all links have given below after the things that you must know.
There are few things that you must know before installing a version other than original android operating system;
- you have to root your phone first. that means you have to void the warranty of your mobile phone and no one is responsible of your mobile phone or operating system that you are going to install on your phone.
- rooting process will give you the required permissions to change your rom (pre installed android version)
- then you have to replace your android system recovery software with clockworkmod recovery software in order to install cyanogen version rom.
- if you are willing to install so far you can install any other android version compatible ith your device.

- software to root your device - kingo root download its totally free
- rom installing android app check it here and browse from your device to download
- cwm installer - this file will automatically downloaded by the rom manager app
- cyanogenmod slimbean 4.2.2 rom if mediafire says not found plz google for a same file
- gapps file if mediafire says no found plz google for a same file
- you need a sdcard more than 256mb free
- internet connection
- remaining 50% battery life on your device
caution : test this installation with your own risk. malfunction of this process will brick your phone. so always keep remember to backup your data before the installation and also dont skip the backup process of your original os while going through the installation process.
start to root your device
install the kingoo root software that you downloaded on your pc. go to settings on you phone-developers options-turn on usb debugging and also turn on settings-applications/developers option-unkown sources. plug in your phone to the pc. wait till the software downloads the updates and other required files automatically. rooting process will void the warranty of your device and still you can use your original os normally. this will not affects the normal process of your device.
verify the root status of your device
if you mobile is rooted correctly you can see an app has installed in your device called SU, super user or superSU. if you still cant verify please download root checker app from android stores. open and go through the app, press verify root access to verify the root status.
install rom manager app on device
now you have rooted your phone..well now you must know your device still has android system recovery app installed.. dont get messed.. simply turn off you device and remove battery.. wait for few seconds and insert the battery back. press volume up + power button together while your phone boots up into the recovery mode (hard reset menu) here you can see its android system recovery.. so letz install clockworkmod recovery.
reboot your phone and go to the google store. simply search "rom manager" and install its free. open it up and with this software we can install clockworkmod recovery. go clockworkmod recovery on app and there the software will show you a page to choose your phone model to download required time. you must have internet conection all the time. i cant post here a snap shot as i have installed it before. just select "huawei asccend" it shud be the first device in the list. just dont select other devices because i havent tested them before select huawei ascend and it will download and install itself.
installing clockworkmod recovery can be veryfing by restarting your phone back to recovery mode or hard reset mode by turn off - remove battery for few seconds - re insert battery - hold power on + volume up button together while clockwork mod opens up. dnt get confused if it doesnt boots up into the clockwork mode for the very first time as it gets few more minutes at the first startup. it it looks like the screen given below you are good to go to the next step.. plz reboot ur phone.
optional - if u were unable to boots up the clockwork mode give it up for a sometime as we can get back to there in another way.
now you have to copy the slimbean 4.2.2 rom file and slim gapps file in to the root folder of the sdcard(dont extract just copy the zip files you downloaded). dont get messed with the root folder it is the very first window that you met when opens up your sd card copy your files there. it will be easy to find later.
installing rom or your new android
open your rom manager app and there will be another option "install from sd card" use this option and select your slim bean 4.2.2 rom to install. phone will reboot into the clockworkmod recovery at this time. now you have all the things on your sdcard so the time is good to go.
note: if it doesnt boots up into the clockwork recovery mode by the rom manager app we can do it with manually so dont get messed at all :P device is too cheap.
anyway if you are going for the manual system go through the sequence before turn off-replace n re enter battery-power+volume up button you are good to go with clockworkmod recovery.
use volume up and down buttons to move along the options and use power button to click, hit or enter the selected option.
1st step: now select wipe data from the clockwork mode recovery mode and hit ok (pwr button)
2nd step: now select cache partition and hit ok
3rd step: now select install zip from sdcard and from the next menu select your saved file slimbean 4.2.2 zip file and hit ok. it will begins the installation and after that you will be returned to the clockworkmod menu again.
4th stage: then you must install the gapps zip file from the sd card as the same way you did before.
congratz now you are done and ready to gooooo..............................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
reboot your device n start setting it up...!!!
